West Yorkshire and Harrogate Joint Committee of the 11 Clinical Commissioning Groups meets on 7 November

Posted on: 31 October 2017

The Joint Committee for the 11 Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in West Yorkshire and Harrogate (WY&H) will meet in public on the 7 November. The Committee, which is part of the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership, has a shared health programme of work that aims to further improve the health and wellbeing of the 2.6 million people living across the area.

The Committee has joint delegated powers from individual CCGs to make collective decisions around specific work programmes, for example mental health, urgent care and stroke.

A key part of their work involves sharing expertise and working closely with local councils, hospitals, care providers and voluntary and community organisations - ensuring services are fit for the future in a challenging financial environment.

Committee meetings held in public will be filmed live and offer the public an opportunity to ask questions about items on the agenda. Written questions should be submitted 48 hours before the meeting. There is also an opportunity to ask questions at the start of the meeting for a short time about agenda items.
